 After opening the chat page in your browser, wait for the applet downloads completely. It may take a minute the first time you enter the chat, but from at later sessions it will be downloaded from your browser's cache and load very quickly. First time you try to login into Glassroom chat a window like this may appear :

 Press on "Yes" button in this page unless your chat system wont work properly.

 After this step, the chat will be started and a window will appear asking you for your nick name and password. Enter your username and password, and enter the lobby. If you want to login as a guest ( and you have this permission ) leave password blank or select "Guest login" checkbox.

 

NOTE1: ITS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT DO NOT OPEN MORE THAN ONE CHAT PAGE ON A SINGLE COMPUTER!

If you can't see this page check that your browser is Java enabled and JRE or JDK is installed on your system. If you have not java, download JRE or JDK from http://java.sun.com . You can use Java 1.1 or above. Chat Essentials has made a great effort to design a nice looking application without using new features of Java because lots of users are using earlier versions of Java.

After entering your nick name, chat application will try to connect to server. Then wait a minute for downloading images and other data from server. If all things take effect normally the chat window will appear like this :

If you can not see this page, please check follow the steps below to troubleshoot the problem:

a) Is the chat server running ? 

b) You must load the applet from the chat server. Make sure that you don't load the chat page directly from your hard drive.

c) If your chat server has a limited user capacity, and it reached to it's limit, you can not login.
